Splitz Support Service, in its normal pattern of support for those adults (primarily women) traumatised by their experience of domestic abuse, provides intensive and then more longer term emotional support to enable those that require it to recover shattered self esteem and confidence. Our aim for those we support is for a successful re-engagement with the community, building confidence and a future for otherwise blighted lives.
Splitz will be supporting those vulnerable women, who are furthest from the marketplace, to a place in their recovery where they have the confidence and the desire to look to an independent future for themselves and their children. For women who have often hidden themselves away as a result of their experience, and for whom a trip to local shops is a challenge, the Building Bridges opportunity is providing the resources, the means, and the partners to have a genuine sense and belief in achieving a successful and independent life.
