Key Information From Our Most Recent Accounts
We have chosen to present a range of key facts about the charity that provide the widest possible range of interest to beneficiaries, funders and other stakeholders. Many of these facts are extracted from our latest Annual Review or Accounts and further explanation can be obtained from these documents.
Our current chairman is Francis Wakem QPM. Our board of trustees supervise the strategic direction of the charity and give guidance to the Executive Director. None of our trustees receive payment for their role. However, we pay reasonable travel expenses to our trustees.
Our current Executive Director is Fran Lewis MBE, who leads a senior management team that includes our Operations Manager, Rachel Wetton, and our Devon Services Manager, Chrissy Stower.

We are committed to providing a living wage to all of our employees. As such we are an accredited living wage employer with the Living Wage Foundation.
There are no salaries above £60,000. The total remuneration of the charity's senior management team for the period was £113,716.
The average number of full time equivalent employees during the year was 62 (2016-17: 63).
There were at least 20 active volunteers. Contributions in kind from volunteers was equivalent to more than £50,000.
Impact is measured differently in each of our 9 project types. We also measure satisfaction and capture feedback in other ways to assess our impact. This will be the first time we have provided data in this way.
