An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Phoenix Project, based in Trowbridge. The Phoenix Project offers integrated Domestic Abuse support across Wiltshire and Sexual Violence support across Wiltshire and Swindon.
We are looking to recruit a new Family Support Worker, providing high quality victim focused support to domestic abuse victims and their families. The successful applicant will be part of an established and experienced team and will additionally work in partnership with the North Wiltshire Children’s Social Care Teams.

Key elements of the role include:
- To provide a high quality, whole family approach to support adult victims and their families who are experiencing domestic abuse.
- Support and enable service users to increase their safety and make positive choices for the future.
- Undertaking risk assessments and implementing robust safety management plans.
- Give practical and emotional support to families who are experiencing domestic abuse in the community.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience of working within the field of domestic abuse, an understanding of risk assessment and safeguarding and exceptional communication skills. Experience and understanding of: providing telephone support, working with both adults and children and multi-agency working is an advantage. Travel across Wiltshire is an essential part of this role, and the applicant should have access to a vehicle.
This role involves home working.
Benefits: 5 weeks annual leave, regular supervision.
Salary: £20,628 - £22,129 (pro rata)
Hours: 30-37 hours per week
