As part of our exciting service, The Phoenix Project, which offers integrated Domestic Abuse support across Wiltshire and Sexual Violence support across Wiltshire and Swindon, we are looking for a Lead Family Support Worker for 37 hours a week who will be co-located between our Trowbridge office and the MASH team in Trowbridge. You will be part of an experienced team providing high quality advice, guidance and support to families (both adult victims and their children).
You will be expected to provide support and guidance to a small team of Domestic Abuse Family Support Workers who deliver a peripatetic high quality, whole family approach, to support adult victims and their families who are experiencing domestic abuse, enabling them to increase their safety and make positive choices. This role will also be co-located within the MASH team in Trowbridge and the post holder will be an important link between Splitz, Support and Safeguarding Teams and MASH.
There may be some requirement to hold a small case load.
You should have some proven experience of supervising staff, support work with knowledge of domestic abuse issues and also have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
You will also need a full driving licence, business insurance and access to a car.
