As part of our exciting service, The Phoenix Project, which offers integrated Domestic Abuse support across Wiltshire and Sexual Violence support across Wiltshire and Swindon, we are looking for a part-time Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (ISVA) Telephone Advisor (Maternity Cover), to work in our ISVA team, providing telephone support to survivors who are thinking about reporting to the police, or have reported.

As the first point of contact for survivors into the ISVA service, your role will be to input referrals on to a database and then make telephone contact with survivors to provide a mix of emotional, practical and factual support so they are able to make informed decisions that are right for them.

You should ideally have proven experience and qualifications in support work with some knowledge of sexual violence issues. You should have IT administration experience, good written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and accuracy in areas of spelling, grammar and punctuation.

As part of our exciting service, The Phoenix Project, which offers integrated Domestic Abuse support across Wiltshire and Sexual Violence support across Wiltshire and Swindon, we are looking for a Family Support Worker for 30 hours a week who will be co-located between the Support and Safeguarding team in Monkton Park, Chippenham and our Trowbridge office, the role will be expected to cover the North of Wiltshire. You will be part of an experienced team providing high quality advice, guidance and support to families (both adult victims and their children).

You will be expected to provide a peripatetic high quality, whole family approach, to support adult victims and their families who are experiencing domestic abuse, enabling them to increase their safety and make positive choices for the future including undertaking robust risk assessments and implementing robust safety management plans as well as giving practical, emotional, support to families who are experiencing domestic abuse in the community.

You should have proven experience and qualifications in support work with knowledge of domestic abuse issues and also have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

You will also need a full driving licence, business insurance and access to a car.

Splitz Support Service are looking for a part-time Wiltshire Lead Single Point of Access (SPA) Advisor to work 20 hours a week located in our Trowbridge office. Domestic abuse and sexual violence referrals all come through our Single Point of Access (SPA). The SPA is the first point of contact for many of our clients and the SPA team are responsible for triaging referrals, giving immediate advice and where appropriate signposting to other agencies.

The Wiltshire Lead SPA Advisor will manage a small team of staff as well as undertaking some direct work with clients alongside ensuring a high standard of support is provided at all times.

You will be responsible for managing the delivery and development of high quality Services for victims of both domestic and sexual abuse. You will manage and motivate teams of specialist domestic abuse and sexual abuse workers with the assistance of team leads. You will be responsible for overseeing their demanding caseloads to deliver positive outcomes for service users. You will also be responsible for the safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults and support staff to ensure the safeguarding policy is followed.

Your will be working to ensure that services are delivered to target, reports completed, and new initiatives developed where appropriate.

You should have a proven track record of managing, recruiting and developing a team within the context of a support service project. You will be skilled at working collaboratively both within the organisation and liaising with external agencies.

You will also need a full driving licence, business insurance and access to a car.

The person we are looking for should have experience of working in the VAWG or Criminal Justice Sector. Ideally you would be a qualified ISVA, but training and line management will be provided. You will manage a team of 5 ISVA’s and hold a case load based on your experience. You will work with adult and child victims of recent and non-recent Sexual Violence and Abuse.

Your role will be to provide survivors with a mix of emotional, practical and factual support so they are able to make informed decisions that are right for them, alongside leading the ISVA team whilst working with the Phoenix Project Manager. In addition to this you will work with criminal justice agencies to advocate for your clients’ needs, as well as signposting clients to appropriate agencies for their individual needs.

You should have proven experience and qualifications in support work with knowledge of sexual violence and domestic abuse issues and also have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

You will also need a full driving licence, business insurance and access to a car.

Volunteer Telephone Advisors - Phoenix Project

Volunteer Telephone Advisors are being sought by Splitz Support Service to help support clients with various issues they face around domestic abuse. No previous experience or qualifications are required. Full training and ongoing support will be provided. The role will be based at the Splitz head office in Trowbridge. All volunteers will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.

Volunteers will be expected to commit to a minimum of 4 hours a week – days and times to be mutually agreed.
