Paloma
Support to victims of domestic violence and abuse. Usually consists of 1:1 support with the opportunity to attend domestic abuse workshops. Support is provided at a safe location and at times to suit you. Available to male and female victims from Wiltshire and Swindon.
DV Workshops
Making Changes and Freedom Programme workshops are run where there is a demand. Both workshops consist of 12 weekly sessions. Usually available after a period of 1:1 support, to female victims of domestic violence and abuse, from Wiltshire and Swindon.
Chldren & Young People
KidzPace and SplitzKidz are support services for young people who have witnessed domestic abuse. Usually consists of 1:1 support with the opportunity to attend associated group workshops. Concurrent workshops are run for the parent. Available to young people aged between 11 and 16 years.
Men's Groups
Structured group sessions for perpetrators of domestic abuse who wish to change their behaviour. Consists of 30 weekly sessions followed by an optional 12 monthly sessions. Concurrent safety advice is provided to the partner. Groups are available in Wiltshire and Bristol.
Buddy Scheme
Low level support to people who are parenting alone for a variety of reasons. Support is provided by our team of highly trained volunteers who offer a mentoring or befriending service. Available to people who are parenting alone and who live in Wiltshire.
Newburn House
A mother and baby unit in Trowbridge for young homeless mums. Support can be available prior to entering the house and when resettling into a new tenancy after leaving the house. Available to women, between 16 and 24 years, who are either pregnant or with a very young baby and who are facing homelessness.
Additional projects are run within the house. We run a cookery project to help the mums develop new skills to help them in their tenancy. Nutrition, cooking and budgeting are all included.
Community4
Community4 is a consortium of 4 local service providers. This project provides housing related support to people living in Wiltshire. Support can be delivered during 1:1 sessions, at drop-ins or other group initiatives.
