Executive Director
Fran Lewis MBE FCMI FRSA

Fran has been the Executive Director of Splitz Support Service since its inception in 1989 and is knowledgeable about Charity Law, Company Law and Employment Law. She is an active member of the County Domestic Violence Strategy Group and is a driving force with Domestic Violence services in the County. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. For eight years she served the community through her role as a Town and District Councillors and remains a trustee for several local charities. Fran was awarded an MBE for services to single parents and victims of domestic violence in the Queen's Birthday Honours in 2010. Fran has been married to the same man for 30 years; has three adult children, four grandchildren and four cats.

Louise Wilson MCMI

Louise spent 12 years as an RAF officer before working for a local charity where she was providing training as well as developing procedures for the fast growing charity. She started with Splitz first as a consultant in 2003, then as an employee in 2004. Louise has experience as a trustee for a charity in Glasgow specialising in drug, alcohol and housing issues.

Bronwen O'Byrne

Bronwen joined us at the beginning of 2008 to set up and then run the Buddy Scheme. She is passionate about the Buddy Scheme believing that it can have huge benefits for both voluneers and service users. Bronwen loves working with volunteers and gets alot out of seeing them develop through working with Splitz. Prior to joining Splitz, Bronwen spent many years working in IT and training and gained a BSc in Psychology though the Open University. She has recenly married her long term partner and lives near Malmesbury with their two young children.


Men's Group Coordinator

Mike Bedford MBE

Mike joined the Royal Army Veterinary Corps in 1981 and served in Northern Ireland, Germany, Cyprus and Hong-Kong. In 1993 he was awarded the MBE for services to the British Forces Germany Youth Service. He transferred to the Army Welfare Service in 1995. During this time he also worked for the Hampshire Probation Service as a sessional worker facilitating their Domestic Violence Perpetrator Programmes. When he left the Army as a Warrant Officer in 2003 he continued running the Programmes for the Probation Service. Mike joined Splitz Support Service as the Children's Domestic Violence Support Worker in 2004, and by February 2005 he began running the voluntary Perpetrator Programme. Mike co-facilitates the Domestic Abuse Training delivered by Wiltshire County Council. In his spare time he plays hockey for the Army veterans.
